Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our team. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are eager to build their career in software testing. As a QA Tester, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality software by performing manual and automated testing, identifying issues, and collaborating with developers to resolve them.

What You’ll Do

• Perform manual and automated testing of software applications.
• Identify, record, and track bugs and issues.
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery.
• Maintain and update test cases, test reports, and related documentation.
• Conduct Black Box testing to validate system functionality.
• Support the QA team in improving testing processes and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Freshers or 0–1 years of experience in QA/testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of Black Box testing.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.

Technical Skills Required

• Programming Languages: Basic understanding of Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
• Databases: SQL skills for querying and validating data.
• Automation Testing: Familiarity with tools like Selenium.
• API Testing: Knowledge of testing APIs for seamless software integration.
• Testing Tools: Experience with bug tracking/project management tools such as Jira.
• Agile/SDLC Knowledge: Understanding of the software development life cycle and agile practices.
• Data Analysis: Ability to analyze test results to improve quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Software Development, or related field (B.Tech preferred).
