Job Title: QA Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced QA Tester with a strong background in software testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with development teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Identify, document, and track bugs/defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Work with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit) to create and maintain automated test scripts (if applicable).
Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
4+ years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar (added advantage).
Good understanding of API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
