Job Summary:

Quality Assurance Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyse business and technical requirements to develop detailed test plans and test cases.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across various platforms.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings in Agile environments.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks.
Ensure software meets defined quality, performance, and security standards.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test data and helping users with test execution.
Continuously improve testing processes and documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with manual testing and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Cypress).
Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with databases and writing SQL queries is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with version control tools like Git.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
API testing experience.
ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
