Job Title: Quality Analyst – Manual Tester Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous Manual Tester to join our quality assurance team at ACS. In this role, you will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring that our software products meet the highest quality standards before they reach users. Your keen attention to detail and analytical skills will be crucial in maintaining our commitment to delivering exceptional software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases based on functional specifications
• Identify, document, and track defects through our bug-tracking system, ensuring timely resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on product functionality
• Perform regression testing and maintain test documentation for future reference
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions to discuss testing priorities and progress
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and methodologies

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in manual testing within a software development environment
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred:

• Experience with testing web applications and APIs
• Familiarity with automation testing tools is a plus
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and tools
• Experience with test case management tools
• Basic understanding of programming languages for effective communication with developers
