Quality Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and usability testing across multiple platforms
• Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools.
• Work closely with developers and project managers to resolve issues and verify fixes.
• Ensure software meets quality, usability, and performance standards before release.
• Participate in QA process improvements and best practice implementation.
• Conduct compatibility and cross-browser testing for web projects.
• Collaborate in Agile development cycles and maintain test documentation.

Required Skill

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3–5 years of QA experience in an IT services or digital agency environment.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in testing web applications (CMS, eCommerce, custom platforms).
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
• Understanding of APIs and database testing is a plus.
• Experience in scripting and programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
• Good understanding of databases and SQL queries for validating back-end data.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of automation testing tools will be an added advantage.
