Quality Analyst

Experience required 1.5 yrs.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning and Documentation:

Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Document and maintain a comprehensive test suite.

2. Manual Testing Execution:

Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Validate software functionality against defined requirements.

Test across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.

3. Defect Management:

Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or equivalent.

Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues efficiently.

4. Collaboration:

Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers.

Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives in Agile environments.

5. Quality Assurance:

Ensure software quality by adhering to company standards and best practices.

Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential areas of improvement.

6. Reporting and Metrics:

Provide regular updates on testing progress and status.

Generate test reports and provide insights into quality metrics.

Technical Skills:

-Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.

-Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or equivalent.

-Knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.

-Familiarity with databases (SQL queries) to validate backend processes.

-Basic understanding of APIs and experience testing APIs using tools like Postman.

Soft Skills:

-Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

-Strong communication and documentation abilities.

-Team player with a proactive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

-Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

-Exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.

-Familiarity with performance testing tools is a bonus.
