QHSE Manager

Purpose of Position: To ensure effective implementation of quality standards, workplace safety practices, and environmental norms by leading inspection processes, managing customer complaints, promoting compliance, and supporting continuous improvement across departments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Monitor incoming, in-process, and final quality inspection activities; ensure defect prevention and product conformity as per defined standards.

2. Coordinate with QC team for inspection reports, rejection logs, and vendor-related quality issues; ensure proper tagging and segregation of non-conforming material.

3. Investigate internal rejections and customer complaints; initiate root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.

4. Ensure workplace safety protocols, PPE usage, and housekeeping compliance across departments; identify and report unsafe conditions.

5. Oversee storage and disposal of scrap, waste, and rejected materials; ensure compliance with environmental and safety norms.

6. Maintain inspection and rejection documentation; support cross-functional teams with quality data for reviews and improvement initiatives.

7. Train operators, inspectors, and new employees on quality awareness, defect identification, safety basics, and good shop-floor practices.

Educational Qualification: Graduate in any stream (Science/Engineering preferred); diploma or certification in Quality, Safety, or Environmental Management is an added advantage.

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality and safety-related functions, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation: 50000-70000 commensurate with qualification and experience
