Role Summary
Responsibility for definition of Quality assurance System for DICV Paint shop Quality lab, Incoming material & Inline process inspection, ensure adequate product & Process quality in paint shop production
Key Responsibilities
- Definition of Paint shop QA lab activities
- Definition of QFL3 process inspection & Sectional product audit
- Implementation of specific QM processes, standards and tools in all production process relevance
- Define & implement IT system for process quality data capture, equipment utilization and control
- SFM board management of QFL3 lab process
- Definition of quality plan for process parameter inspection
- Supplier test reports monitoring, long term test evaluation through supplier reports
- Feasible long-term test to be performed in DICV
- 4M methodology for root cause analysis and support for Quality feedback loop in paint shop
- SAP management for incoming material approval & data management
- Cross functional management on issue based prioritize
- Establishment of feedback system for measures online issues
- Execution support of Q-release process for process changes/ New variants introduction
- Cross functional team member in Paint team to define QM requirements
- Quality assurance activities in localization of raw materials, supplier source change/modification
- Support for the new trials and the results monitoring
- Maintenance of MES data management system for QFL3 inspection data’s process.
- Sustain & improve further on feedback system for measures on paint shop lab inspection & line Process parameters (QFL3)
- Sustain & improve further on feedback system for measures on process inspection & supplier product quality issues
- Creation of work instruction / methods for all online and process inspection & QFL3 process
- Support production for finding root cause and counter measures, Validation & Monitoring of material test results as per standard
- Responsible for QFL3 lab activities & instruments being used
- Support production for finding root cause and counter measures
- Maintaining 5s & drive for improvements in the work environment.
- Reporting the quality status of process parameters on daily/weekly
- Training and evaluation of potential of every individuals & records to be monitored
- Giving continuous training and manage the Paint QA Blue Collar Associates (Inspectors)
- Monitor and improve processes
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Detailed knowledge in Paint shop pre-treatment, electro coat, sealer and topcoat process control
- On hand experience in QFL3 process inspection & Incoming material validation, analysing skill on problem basis, paint shop failure & problem analysis skills, Paint material shade inspection, Color matching.
- Knowledge in handling equipment/ instruments like oven temperature recorder, wave scan measurement, Spectrophotometer, and gloss measurement, Lux level measurement, dust level inspection using dust particle analyser is essential.
- Knowledge on problem solving methodology (7QC & QC story)
- Knowledge on the New product implementation (PPAP & APQP)
- Knowledge on the Ms. excel, power point
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills
