1 Job description
Implement, maintain and continuously improve companywide QEHS Systems and processes.
Implementation of the QEHS strategy
Ensure Compliance to IRIS requirements.
Undertake audits in all areas including supply chain
Implementation of lean management and continual improvement initiatives like Quality Circles, Kaizen and Poka Yoke
Implementation of Six Sigma initiatives for Problem Solving
Ensure EHS compliance
1.1 Key roles & responsibilities
Implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO/TS 22163 (IRIS) standard requirements, legal and statutory requirements & the organizational objectives
Conduct Organizational Strategy review meetings
QEHS implementation across the organization
Implementation of Quality Tools & Techniques for Problem Solving and Analysis
Analysis of internal and external complaints CIA Implementation, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action and closure
Coordination and conductance of Internal & External (Customers, Certification Agencies etc.) Audits
Coordinate for inputs related to Management Review Meetings and closure of related actions
Implement Continuous Improvement program and associated plans to meet improvement objectives.
Coordination of Quality Circles for Problem Solving
Identify and provide continuous training and development on QMS, IRIS, Lean management initiatives and Six Sigma and other continual improvement initiatives in line with the business processes
Initiate & share QEHS benchmarking and best practices across teams
Review and revise the Process Descriptions and other documents related to QMS, IRIS implementation and Continual improvement initiatives
QEHS Documentation control & management
Establishing QMS processes
Implementing Environment, health & safety work practices
The position facilitates teams in the collection and analysis of operational data, identification, prioritization, and implementation of Lean management tools and CI events and projects.
Analyse operational data, trend analysis, statistical studies, Pareto charts, process maps, etc., to identify improvement and waste elimination opportunities within the factory value stream
Undertake internal project and management audits during the tender, manufacture, project, installation and commissioning stages
Undertake special projects as per requirement.

Initiate / Improve practices related to Quality, Env., Health and Safety Management
Initiate actions related to Emergency Preparedness / Response by Safety audits
Question and highlight any quality related issues in product / process
Audit co-ordination (Internal & External) and conductance
Stop any untoward Quality, Environment, Health or Safety Practice
Continual Improvement activities, including Quality Circles
Initiation and Closure of CIA
Document Release
1.4 Qualification & required technical skill sets
Engineering graduate with 5-6 years min. of industrial experience, preferably EMS / Automotive
Knowledge of problem-solving methods
Lean / Six Sigma training or equivalent is an advantage
Good analytical skills.
Experience of working in Quality Assurance
Manage team activities like Quality Circles / Six Sigma Projects / Kaizen initiatives
Understanding of standards ISO/TS 22163, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
Experience in EMS & OHSMS is preferable
ISO documentation - Procedures, SOPs, Work Instruction etc.
