Role & responsibilities Machining Operations: Supervise daily operations of CNC VMC, CNC Turning, and conventional machines. Review, modify, and optimize machining programs to improve cycle time and accuracy. Ensure proper tooling, fixture setup, and machine calibration for efficient production. Production Planning & Execution: Plan and prioritize daily production schedules based on job requirements and delivery timelines. Monitor machine utilization, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies to minimize downtime. Coordinate with design and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely issue resolution. Quality Control: Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks to maintain high standards. Ensure adherence to dimensional tolerances, surface finish, and customer specifications. Implement corrective actions for non-conformities and maintain quality documentation. ERP & Reporting: Utilize ERP systems for job tracking, inventory control, and production reporting. Maintain accurate records of machine hours, tool life, job completion, and material usage. Generate performance reports and dashboards using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Charts). Team Leadership & Safety: Guide, train, and support junior operators and technicians to enhance team capability. Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and continuous improvement on the shop floor. Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering. Preferred candidate profile Candidate having experience in Machinery Manufacturing Industry shall be proffered.
