QA - Test Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead our dynamic, 20+ member testing team. This strategic role is critical to ensuring the impeccable quality and reliability of our core healthcare platforms, including Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and associated mobile applications. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep expertise in healthcare systems, a strong background in both functional and automation testing, and a forward-thinking mindset. A key component of this role is to drive the adoption and implementation of modern AI tools to enhance our automation testing scripts, accelerate execution, and boost overall efficiency. You will be responsible for departmental strategy, process improvement, team mentorship, and reporting on all quality metrics to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications & Skills (Must-Haves):

• Experience: 10 to 12 years in Quality Assurance, with at least 4-5 years in a QA Manager/Lead role.
• Team Leadership: Proven experience directly managing, mentoring, and scaling a QA team of 20 or more members.
• Healthcare Domain: Deep functional knowledge and testing experience with healthcare systems, specifically HIS and EMR/EHR platforms.
• Mobile Testing: Demonstrable experience in leading mobile application testing strategies for both iOS and Android.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in both manual/functional testing and test automation (framework design, script development, and maintenance).
• Experience with performance and security testing.
• AI in Testing: Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience with AI tools used in test automation (e.g., tools for script generation, test maintenance, or visual analysis like Testim.io, Applitools, Mabl, or similar).
• Leverage AI to enhance record-and-playback functionalities for rapid script preparation, generative AI for script creation, and tools for self-healing tests
• Process Driven: A proven track record of driving process improvements, implementing QA best practices, and improving team efficiency.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Metrics & Reporting: Strong analytical skills and experience in defining and reporting on quality metrics that drive business decisions.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with performance and security testing.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulations, HL7 (preferably Indian Healthcare)
• Certifications such as ISTQB, CSQA, or PMP.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Playwright, Appium, JIRA, and TestRail.
• Must be willing to Work from Neurealm Chennai Office Mon-Fri (Regular Timings)
