Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Related equivalent work experience.

AWS/Azure Certified DevOps/SysOps Administrator or equivalent work experience

LPIC-2 Linux certification or equivalent work experience

Required Experience

710 years of experience in enterprise-scale DevOps and SysOps roles, managing hybrid infrastructure environments (on-prem and cloud), with a strong emphasis on automation, reliability engineering, and system lifecycle management.

Advanced Linux/Unix systems administration expertise (RHEL, SuSE, Debian), including performance tuning, patching, and secure configuration in production environments.

Proficient in Python for building automation scripts, integrating APIs, developing ETL pipelines, and creating custom tooling for infrastructure and deployment workflows.

Strong Bash/Shell scripting skills for system automation, monitoring, log parsing, and scheduled task orchestration (cron, systemd timers).

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially using GitHub Actions, including dynamic secrets management, environment provisioning, and cloud-native deployment strategies.

Expertise in Configuration Management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or similar, for enforcing system state, managing fleet configurations, and orchestrating updates.

Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, OpenTofu, or equivalent tools, with experience in modular design, state management, and cloud resource provisioning.

57 years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS and/or Azure, including IAM, networking, compute, storage, and monitoring services.

Working knowledge of virtualization and legacy systems, including VMware, Windows Server, and Linux, for hybrid infrastructure support and migration planning.

Broad experience in cloud architecture and operations, including deploying and managing PaaS and IaaS solutions across multi-cloud and multi-vendor environments.

Proven track record in system planning, security hardening, and operational best practices, including backup strategies, incident response, and compliance alignment (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001).
