QA Test Lead

As a member of the Maconomy team at WPP, you will be responsible for providing hands-on Testing lead skills for planned rollouts and releases on Maconomy Core. Your role will involve leading the entire project lifecycle, including scope definition, planning, execution, support, and closure. Additionally, you will be involved in risk assessments, preparation and execution of test documentation, and ensuring project and BAU fixes/changes align with the Global Test Strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the entire project lifecycle from planning, execution to completion - Perform risk assessments and produce Test documentation (e.g., Test Plans, Test Cases) - Prepare and execute Testing for Project & BAU fixes/changes - Ensure reporting and communication of plans, progress and issues is timely and effective - Collaborate with 3rd party teams to ensure testing is delivered correctly and on time - Set up Jira/Zephyr for Project & BAU Testing Activities - Execute & Maintain Automated scripts - Support Testing out of Hours, including Releases into Production environments - Assist the Release team if needed at crucial times In addition to the above, you will be responsible for creating new Projects in Jira, updating Global Config for Jira Projects, and managing User Management in Jira. Qualifications Required: - Experience of Testing throughout the full SDLC (Management & Execution) - Proficiency in Test Management Tools like Jira, ALM, and Automation tools - Strong Excel skills - Analytical and organisational skills - Understanding of Finance and business processes - Ability to manage complex requests and prioritize tasks - Strong communication and influencing skills At WPP, we value inclusivity, collaboration, and optimism.
