Role Overview

The Software Tester will be responsible for conducting manual and automation testing to identify bugs, enhance product performance, and ensure smooth functionality before release. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a good understanding of QA methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing – functional, regression, sanity, and UI testing.
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test documentation.
• Execute automation scripts and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium / Playwright / Cypress preferred).
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira/Trello/Bugzilla.
• Conduct API testing using Postman / Swagger.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements.
• Provide clear test reports and suggest improvements in the product.
• Participate in release testing and ensure product stability.
• Ensure quality standards are followed throughout the development cycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
• Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium / TestNG / JUnit / Cypress / Playwright (any).
• Experience in API testing using Postman.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with SQL queries for data validation.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira / Trello).
• Ability to prepare test scenarios, test cases & test reports.
• Good analytical skills & attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good to Have (Bonus Points)
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of performance/load testing tools (JMeter).
• Basic knowledge of scripting (Python/Java/JS).
• Experience in testing SaaS / Web-based applications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,802.72 - ₹22,365.71 per month
