About the Role:
As a QA Manual Engineer, you’ll work closely with our product, design, and engineering teams to ensure that our web and mobile applications deliver a seamless experience to learners, educators, and partners.You’ll design test scenarios, execute manual test cases, and collaborate to identify and track bugs through to resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand product requirements and translate them into clear test scenarios and cases.
- Conduct functional, regression, UI, and exploratory testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Identify, document, and track bugs through JIRA (or similar tools).
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues.
- Validate bug fixes, releases, and perform UAT before deployment.
- Contribute to building and maintaining a test case repository and testing documentation.
- Ensure testing activities are integrated into sprint cycles and align with product timelines.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and edge cases.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Experience testing API integrations, databases, and third-party tools.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Linear, or similar).
- Working knowledge of Postman or similar API testing tools is a plus.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- A mindset that blends attention to detail with product thinking.
Nice-to-Have:
- Exposure to basic automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Experience with performance or load testing tools.
