Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing test strategies, identifying defects, and collaborating with the development team to deliver high-quality releases.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Identify, log, and track defects; verify fixes and maintain detailed testing documentation.
Analyse requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to ensure clarity and testability.
Collaborate with developers, project managers, and product teams to improve product quality.
Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test data.
Ensure compliance with QA standards, processes, and best practices.
Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Enhance existing automation frameworks and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements.
Communicate test results, risks, and issues clearly to the team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience in manual testing and automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
Experience with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Trello, Bugzilla, etc.).
Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
Basic understanding of SQL and database validations.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Experience with mobile app testing (Android/iOS).
Programming knowledge (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) for automation scripting
