QA Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. As an SDET, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. You will work closely with developers and QA engineers to enhance test coverage, automate testing processes, and contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Collaborate with software developers to identify and resolve defects early in the development lifecycle.Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into the deployment process.Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks.Analyze test results, report defects, and track issues to resolution.Perform manual testing when necessary to validate test cases and exploratory testing.Continuously improve the testing process by adopting best practices and new technologies.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Basic programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.Understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress is a plus.Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured (preferred).Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.Basic knowledge of databases and SQL for testing data integrity.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Nice to Have (Preferred but Not Mandatory):Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.Experience in writing test scripts using frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
