About The Role
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer III with a proven track record in automation testing and quality engineering.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and Playwright and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions.
In this role, you will not only contribute technically but also mentor QA engineers, influence testing strategies, and play a key role in shaping our automation frameworks and processes.
As a Cloud Engineer III You Will
- Lead the QA automation strategy, planning, and execution for complex software projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using TypeScript, Node.js, and Playwright
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage.
- Perform code reviews for automation scripts to maintain high-quality standards.
- Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing practices.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban) and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
- Ensure timely identification, documentation, and resolution of defects.
What We’re Looking For
- 5-7 years of professional experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Playwright (mandatory).
- In depth knowledge of automation testing, hands on experience on test strategy & plan (coding/scripting)
- A high-quality bar; automation testing, code reviews, test automation tools, continuous integration & deployment, and a preference for agile methods.
- Java, Selenium - nice to have.
- Proven experience in leading QA efforts for complex, large-scale software systems.
- Strong knowledge of test automation tools and best practices.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Familiarity with continuous integration & deployment pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
