QA Engineer

Job Description

Review specifications and provide feedback on risks, gaps, and potential issues Define test strategies, and plans, and ensure traceability to customer requirements and compliance with quality standards Align testing with CI/CD processes and Green IT guidelines Design test cases, prepare test environments, and execute tests Sign off on features based on exit criteria and update regression tests and CI/CD pipelines Evaluate and automate tests, improving the automation framework Report defects, assign severity, and provide details for resolution Verify defect fixes and give a go/no-go approval for production Communicate test progress to stakeholders and share insights within the QA community Promote best practices, ensure high-quality standards, and drive continuous improvement Contribute to sustainable testing practices and reduce the environmental impact of testing "requirements":["5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation Expertise in test strategies, planning, execution, and reporting Knowledge of CI/CD processes and Green IT guidelines Exposure to automation around integrating two systems Experience with PMS product (Property Management Systems) integration exposed via APIs would be great Exposure to the Hospitality industry, especially around the CRS-PMC integration Any tools innovation experience to make integration validation end-to-end traceable Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks Familiarity with testing in the hospitality industry Ability to review and analyze technical and functional specifications Good understanding of quality standards like ISTQB and SDL Strong problem-solving and defect management skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills "additionalRequirements":null,
