Description
Develop, implement and maintain automated test frameworks and tools Design and execute automated test scripts for distributed applications and APIs Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and quality in software design Analyze test results, identify defects and drive issue resolution Optimize test data management and infrastructure scalability Ensure seamless integration with cloud-based and on-prem environments Utilize relational databases for testing and troubleshooting Work with technologies such as ElasticSearch, Kafka and containerized environments requirements: 5+ years developing and testing software using a major language such as C#, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript with 2+ years building distributed applications 3+ years of experience using test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, or similar3+ years of experience writing custom software for testing purposes. Note: This is the key differentiator between QA Automation Engineer and Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). MUST HAVE examples in resume or pre-screened3+ years experience orchestrating automated test execution using Jenkins, BitBucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions or similarExperience integrating tools with git-based version control systems such as GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab, etc.Experience with test frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Mockito, SpockPractical experience working with one or more Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) including design, implementation, and troubleshootingExperience with cloud-based application testingRelated technologies used during distributed software development such as ElasticSearch, Message queues (Kafka/IBM MQ), and ContainersExperience building and testing APIs (especially RESTful APIs) additionalRequirements: Experience creating and managing large sets of test data to be used in automation scenarios.Experience scaling automated test infrastructures (build servers, test runners, etc.) with on-prem and/or cloud-based architectures and solutionsHas previously written software with Spring FrameworkExperience writing software with front-end stack such as Angular or React
