About The Role We’re looking for a passionate QA Engineer – Backend who will work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure high quality and reliability of our backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines. You’ll be responsible for building automated test suites, identifying bugs before production, and validating new features at scale. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for backend services Test RESTful APIs, databases, and integrations across services Design and implement automation frameworks and regression suites Monitor production issues and write reproducible test cases Collaborate with developers to debug issues and improve test coverage Create performance and load test plans for critical endpoints Ensure releases are stable, safe, and delivered on time Qualifications Required Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in backend testing or QA roles Strong knowledge of API testing (Postman, Swagger, or similar tools) Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or custom frameworks) Familiarity with JavaScript, Node.js or Python for scripting test logic Preferred Qualifications Understanding of databases like MongoDB, Firebase Firestore or PostgreSQL Basic understanding of CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) Excellent attention to detail, debugging, and communication skills Good to Have Experience with performance testing (e.g., JMeter, k6) Prior experience testing analytics pipelines or event tracking (Mixpanel, GA4) Understanding of AI/ML systems or LLM integrations What We Offer Opportunity to work in a high-growth, early-stage AI startup High ownership and autonomy in shaping the QA discipline A collaborative, ambitious, and user-first team culture Direct visibility into product, growth, and engineering strategies Skills: jest,pipelines,ci/cd workflows,github actions,swagger,python,postman,scripting,javascript,performance testing,testing,node.js,api testing,automation,automated testing tools,test cases,databases Show more Show less
