Job Description: Automation Test Engineer (Selenium Python)

Position Overview:

As an Automation Test Engineer specializing in Selenium and Python, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through the development and execution of automated test scripts. You will work closely with the development and quality assurance (QA) teams to create, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks, identify test scenarios, and execute automated tests to validate software functionality. Your expertise in Selenium and Python will be essential in implementing effective test strategies and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Python.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design test cases accordingly.

3. Create, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks to support efficient test execution.

4. Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, identify defects, and report them using appropriate defect tracking tools.

5. Identify, prioritize, and implement suitable test scenarios and test cases for automation.

6. Participate in test case reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve test coverage and effectiveness.

7. Conduct thorough root cause analysis for identified defects and work with the development team to resolve them.

8. Monitor and analyze test results, track defects, and generate comprehensive test reports.

9. Continuously improve the automation test suite by incorporating new tools, technologies, and best practices.

10. Collaborate with the QA team to define and enforce quality standards and processes.

11. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation tools and techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
