The Role
As a QA Engineer at QuickCode Consulting, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web-based solutions. You will be responsible for designing and executing both manual and automated tests to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.This role requires someone detail-oriented, hands-on, and flexible, with the ability to work across different domains. You will operate in a fast-paced environment, contributing to automation initiatives while ensuring that every feature meets the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for web-based UI/UX solutions.
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing for various projects across multiple domains.
- Identify, log, and track bugs through their lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes by integrating automated tests.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Advocate for quality in all aspects of the development process.

Qualifications And Skills We Are Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in QA, with 1–2 years in automation.
- Strong background in testing web-based UI/UX solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for automation.
- Experience with functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Good understanding of test frameworks, defect lifecycle, and test planning.
- Ability to work across different domains and projects with flexibility.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication.
Preferred
- Exposure to API testing and tools like Postman.
- Knowledge of performance or security testing (bonus).
