Role Description

This is a full-time role as a Django Developer at Ilizien Pvt Ltd. As a Django Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining back-end web applications using Django framework. You will collaborate with the front-end development team to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Daily tasks include writing clean, efficient, scalable code, conducting testing, debugging, and troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects.

Responsibilities:

●       Develop and maintain back-end web applications using Django

●       Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab/Jenkins)

●       Ensure code quality and adherence to PEP8 standards

●       Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and migrations (PostgreSQL / MySQL)

●       Develop and maintain micro-service architecture, including hierarchical roles, accesses, and privileges

●       Create and optimize complex search functionalities with indexing in Django projects

●       Troubleshoot and debug applications

●       Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members

●       Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

●       Secure deployment workflows

●       Implement authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth, RBAC)

●       Automated testing and code quality checks

●       Ensure application security (OWASP guidelines, data encryption, secure APIs)

●       Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers

●       Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance

Requirements:

●       Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development in Django

●       Good knowledge of developing CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab/Jenkins)

●       Sound knowledge in Object-Oriented Programming

●       Proficiency in working with SQL & NoSQL Databases

●       Demonstrated work experience in micro-service architecture, hierarchical roles, accesses, and privileges

●       Actual coding experience in creating and optimizing complex search functionalities with indexing in Django projects

●       Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

●       Detail-oriented with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

●       Should have worked on one project in Django using PEP8 standards of coding recently

●       Strong communication and collaboration skills

●       Experience in AI/ML is desirable

●       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
