Python Automation Developer

We are seeking an experienced Python Automation Developer with a strong background in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated solutions to streamline data workflows, integrate multiple data sources, and ensure high data quality across systems.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

· Design and implement ETL pipelines to integrate structured and unstructured data from various sources.

· Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.

· Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver automation solutions.

· Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring for automated workflows.

· Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, and security standards.

· Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing automation and ETL processes.

· Document code, workflows, and best practices for ongoing maintenance and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Python programming for automation and data processing.

· Strong experience in ETL tools, frameworks, or custom ETL pipeline development.

· Proficiency with SQL for querying and data manipulation.

· Experience working with APIs, web scraping, or data ingestion methods.

· Knowledge of data formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, and Parquet.

· Familiarity with job scheduling tools (e.g., Airflow, Cron, Luigi).

· Understanding of data quality, validation, and cleansing techniques.

· Version control experience (Git).

Good to Have

· Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow).

· Knowledge of Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop).

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.

· Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
