Standardized Title: Solar Design Manager Location: On-site, India Role & Responsibilities Lead end-to-end DC & AC engineering for rooftop, ground-mounted, and hybrid solar projects from 100 kW to 100 MW across domestic and international geographies. Create optimized layouts, single-line diagrams, wiring schedules, and 3D shading analysis using AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and PlantPredict. Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and technical bid documentation; collaborate with procurement to evaluate vendors and negotiate specifications. Ensure designs comply with IEC, NEC, IS, and regional grid-code standards; perform energy yield assessments and reliability studies for bankability reports. Manage a team of junior engineers: allocate tasks, review deliverables, conduct quality checks, and mentor on best practices and emerging PV technologies. Experience with bifacial modules, tracking systems, or storage-coupled PV plants. Exposure to international codes (UL, NFPA) and bankability audits by tier-1 lenders.
