Job Description

About the Role:

Senior Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare electrical designs, SLDs, voltage drop & power loss calculations
Perform cable sizing, routing, and component evaluation (Modules, Inverters, SCADA, Transformers, etc.)
Prepare detailed technical specifications, datasheet evaluations, and BOQs
Conduct site surveys and develop As-Built drawings post-commissioning
Coordinate with vendors for inspections, GTP reviews, and quality assurance
Ensure adherence to design release plans, QMS, and project timelines
Support internal teams (CRM/BD/Projects/OMS) in resolving technical issues
Optimize design and equipment selection to ensure maximum plant yield

Required Technical Skills:

Software:
AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, Skelion
Strong knowledge of 1D, 2D drawings, and Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
Expertise in PV system component selection and integration
Understanding of quality and compliance standards (QAP, IMS, EMS)
