We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Design to join our renewable energy team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing ground-mounted solar PV systems and a strong understanding of engineering principles, industry standards, and project execution. Candidates with experience in both Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) design will be given preference.
* Design and develop layouts for ground-mounted solar PV systems using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope).
* Conduct site assessments, shading analysis, and energy yield simulations.
* Prepare detailed engineering drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and bill of materials (BOM).
* Collaborate with project, procurement, and execution teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
* Ensure compliance with national and international codes, standards, and safety regulations.
* Optimize system design for performance, cost, and reliability.
* Support technical documentation, client presentations, and design approvals.
* Coordinate with vendors and consultants for technical evaluations and design validations.
* Bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
* Proven experience in designing ground-mounted solar PV systems.
* Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and MS Office.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, solar components, and grid integration.
