Wealth Manager - Family Office

About the Role

We are seeking a high-caliber, analytically strong, and investment-oriented Wealth Manager to join our Family Office. The ideal candidate will bring a well-demonstrated personal and professional track record across diverse asset classes and play a key role in building and executing investment strategies, portfolio allocation frameworks, and structuring deals. While we will continue to work with external wealth managers and advisors, this role is pivotal in ensuring internal ownership of investment decisions and developing a strong, insight-led investment philosophy within the family office.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Strategy & Execution

• Develop and continuously refine the investment strategy and thesis aligned with familys long-term objectives, risk appetite, and cash flow needs.
• Drive portfolio construction, allocation, and optimization across asset classes: equities, debt, special situations, startups, real estate, and alternatives with the help of external wealth manager.
• Evaluate investment opportunities provided by external wealth advisor in both primary and secondary markets, with a focus on deal origination and execution and share with Promoter/Investment Committee.

Market Intelligence & Research

• Use sectoral insights to identify niche investment opportunities, especially in the listed Small/Micro/SME space, where companies demonstrate growth prospects at reasonable valuations.
• Maintain ongoing macro and micro market tracking, develop thematic research, and guide tactical rebalancing decisions.

Networking & Deal Flow

• Leverage a strong network across capital markets, investment bankers, fund managers, syndicates, and family office ecosystems to source and evaluate proprietary deal flow.
• Build relationships with external wealth managers and advisors to extract value-added insights and negotiate better investment access and terms.

Portfolio Monitoring & Governance

• Track portfolio performance and risk across instruments, prepare actionable dashboards and reports for promoters.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, documentation, and alignment with family office investment policies.

Qualification, Experience & Desired Skills

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Economics, Management, or related field.
  CFA/CA/CFA Level II or III, MBA (Finance), or other relevant certifications preferred.
• 5+ years of demonstrable experience managing personal and/or professional investment portfolios.
• Proven ability to independently ideate and execute investment decisions across asset classes.
• Analytical Mindset and Hands-on experience investing across Equities (public and private), Debt (including high-yield and structured credit), Special Situations, Startups (early/growth stage), and Real Estate.
• Deep knowledge of equity and debt capital markets, including instruments, structures, regulatory landscape, and transaction mechanics.
• Highly entrepreneurial, resourceful, and networked in the investing ecosystem.
• Integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential family and financial matters.
• Proficiency in Excel, investment tools, dashboards, and financial databases
