Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager located in Chennai. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for various construction and interior design projects. This includes negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery. The role involves close collaboration with the project management team to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Procurement, Negotiation, Vendor Management skills
• Inventory Management and Planning skills
• 6 plus years Experience in sourcing materials for construction and interior design projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Bachelor's degree in relevant
• Experience in the construction industry

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and purchase materials needed for projects on time
• Find and manage reliable suppliers and vendors
• Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and terms
• Issue purchase orders, bill collection and track deliveries
• Work closely with project and site teams for material requirements
• Keep stock levels in check and avoid shortages or excess
• Make sure purchased items meet quality and quantity standards
• Maintain proper records for all purchases and approvals
• Ensure purchases stay within budget and company policies
• Monitor supplier performance and solve any issues

Salary: 4 Lakhs - 5 Lakhs per annum
