Purchasing Manager

As a Purchase Manager at SARG Enterprise LLP, you will be responsible for leading and streamlining procurement operations in the Import & Export industry, specifically dealing with yarn, fiber, metals, and chemicals. Your role will involve developing and executing long-term procurement strategies that align with business goals to ensure quality, efficiency, and value delivery to global clients and partners. Your key responsibilities will include identifying and qualifying reliable vendors both locally and globally, negotiating contracts to optimize cost and quality, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating purchase planning with sales and operations teams. You will also be required to ensure compliance with relevant trade laws, documentation, and customs regulations, collaborate with various departments for supply chain efficiency, and maintain a comprehensive vendor database and procurement MIS. Additionally, you will analyze market trends, pricing, and emerging risks in global commodities to make informed procurement decisions. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field (MBA preferred) along with 10-15 years of hands-on experience in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing, preferably in import/export or commodity trading. You should have proven expertise in international procurement, vendor development, negotiation, and a strong understanding of Incoterms, trade documentation, and global logistics. Excellent analytical, communication, leadership skills, proficiency in procurement systems, and the ability to manage multiple categories in a dynamic business environment are essential.
