Purchasing Manager

As a Procurement Manager in our company, your role will involve directing the activities of buyers and expediters to achieve company objectives. You will be responsible for evaluating vendor reliability, overseeing vendor surveys, and maintaining strong working relationships. Additionally, you will review and approve purchases up to a specified dollar amount, develop policies and procedures for procurement operations, and monitor cost, schedule, and performance aspects of major subcontracts. You will also coordinate purchasing activities with engineering and manufacturing departments to ensure inventories are maintained at planned levels. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial in making judgment calls within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate actions. It is essential to understand Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and comply with these standards at all times. Please note that this is a full-time position with 20% travel required. Relocation is also eligible for this role.,
