Hiring: Head of Operations – THE BARBEQUE LOUNGE | Chennai (OMR) We’re looking for an Operations Head to lead and manage the overall operations of our vibrant THE BARBEQUE LOUNGE in Chennai – OMR. Responsibilities: Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations , ensuring smooth functioning across all departments. Manage and mentor teams in kitchen, service, bar, and administration for optimal performance. Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency in food quality, service, and hygiene. Monitor P&L statements , control costs, and drive profitability. Ensure inventory control , vendor management, and efficient supply chain operations. Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to increase footfall and customer engagement. Maintain compliance with FSSAI, excise, and safety regulations . Handle customer feedback and grievance resolution effectively. Plan and coordinate events, special menus, and theme nights to enhance guest experience. Report directly to the owners/management with performance insights and operational improvements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration , or a related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of experience in restaurant or bar operations, with at least 3–5 years in a senior managerial role . Strong understanding of F&B operations, cost control, budgeting, and inventory systems . Proven experience managing large teams and multi-department coordination and ensuring top-tier service quality. Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills . Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment with an eye for detail and customer satisfaction. Knowledge of POS systems, vendor management tools, and basic accounting is an advantage.
