Purchasing Executive

As a Purchase Executive in the Electrical Trading industry based in New Delhi, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process of electrical items. Your primary focus will be to ensure that the right products are sourced at the best cost, delivered on time, and meet technical specifications. This role requires expertise in vendor management, negotiation, and a strong technical understanding of electrical materials. Your key responsibilities will include identifying, evaluating, and selecting vendors for electrical products such as cables, switchgears, and panels. You will be tasked with floating RFQs, creating price comparison sheets, and negotiating for favorable pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules. It will be essential to review and interpret SLDs and BOQs to align purchases with project requirements. Additionally, you will maintain vendor lists, onboard new suppliers, and conduct quality audits to ensure compliance. Collaboration with project and logistics teams will be crucial for coordinating dispatches, tracking orders, and resolving any issues or delays. Your goal will be to ensure that all purchases stay within budget constraints and adhere to company procurement guidelines. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with 3-4 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading environment. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and effective email communication is required. Strong negotiation skills, vendor management expertise, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities are essential for success. As a Purchase Executive, your communication and coordination abilities, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in documentation will be critical. You should be a team player with leadership qualities to excel in this role.
