Job Description

Brief Description & Job Responsibilities: This is a role with combination of responsibilities involving Procurement / supply chain management within our manufacturing company. This individual will be responsible for Procuring of the necessary materials efficiently and effectively, in Coordination with Stores / Warehouse Team ensuring smooth and efficient flow of goods and supplies within a company, allowing the manufacturing unit to operate effectively and meet its needs. Candidate will also coordinate with suppliers for regular pricing updates, generate new vendors, Issue and manage purchase orders, handle inventory requisitions, and ensure proper and on-time supplies of materials. Responsibilities for this position includes:

Procurement & Inventory Management Roles like researching and evaluating vendors to compare pricing and services, Coordinating with suppliers to place orders and track deliveries, Preparing and processing purchase orders, Ensuring quality of procured items and addressing any problems. Handle day-to-day operations of purchase team, Managing inventory requisitions, from production team, Supplier’s Order Board to maintain minimum required quantities, and reordering supplies when needed. ensuring materials accurately on time, with accurate records of inventory movements, Managing storage and dispatch of materials.

Documentation and Record Keeping responsibilities like preparing and maintaining documents for purchase activities, including purchase orders, receipts, and materials received records, dispatches etc., Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Skills: An Engineering or Commerce Graduate, having 5-7 years’ experience with Purchase Department in an Industrial / Auto Ancillary Manufacturing Company, with Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers and other departments. Familiarity with inventory management systems and software. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions about procurement and inventory. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for procurement and inventory management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
