Job Description

  • Develop and execute strategic purchasing plans aligned with organizational requirements.
  • Source, evaluate, and engage suppliers; build and maintain vendor databases.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to secure favorable terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance, ensure quality standards and on-time delivery.
  • Forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and streamline order processes.
  • Track procurement KPIs, analyze cost trends, and generate efficiency reports.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the purchasing team; drive continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.

Required candidate profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the education sector.
  • Proven track record of successful negotiations and supplier management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
