Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Manager located in Mumbai. As a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices while maintaining quality standards. The role also involves collaboration with various departments to align procurement activities with company goals.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Procurement, Vendor Management, and Negotiation techniques
• Knowledge of Inventory Management, Supply Chain Operations, and Cost Optimization
• Familiarity with Market Research, Data Analysis, and Purchase Planning
• Exceptional Communication, Organizational, and Problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in the construction, mining, or equipment rental sectors is preferred
