Purchase Manager

• Developing procurement strategies that are cost-effective.
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and transporters and Procuring Materials as well as
  services required for manufacturing acrylic emulsions.
• Materials handled are as follows:

1. Raw Materials

2. Engineering Items for the maintenance of equipment.

3. Packing Materials

4. Laboratory Chemicals & Equipment.

5. Capital Machineries for expansion & upgradation of factthe ory.

• Negotiating with suppliers and transporters to secure advantageous terms.
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and transporters to ensure on-going feasibility.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers& transporters.
• Authorizing purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• To develop buyer- seller relations
• Coordinating with factory, supplier and transporter for smooth production.
• Developing alternate suppliers
• Inventory Management, Physical Inventory

• Import of Raw Materials

• Custom Clearance of Raw Materials as well as Laboratory equipment.

• Logistics Inward & Outward.
• Export Logistics & Custom Clearance.
• To process invoice for payment
• To request for payment.
• Managing Services required for running office
• General Administration & maintenance of office.
• To implement ISO 9001 2008 system for quality management system.
• Any other jobs given by Management.
• The Company is looking for a mature, dependable, and honest individual to handle the cocompany'smpanys purchases.
• This will consist of emulsion polymer inputs like monomers, surfactants, additives, chemicals as well as packing materials.
• He will also be responsible for purchase of maintenance inputs and engineering items. In addition, he should also be familiar with customs formalities for export and import consignments.
• He will also be required to handle the transportation and logistics for purchases and sales.
• He will report to the Managing Director.

Desired Profile

• Candidates should be chemical engineering or chemistry graduates with about 15-20 years relevant experience in a similar industry or chemical industry.
• He must be well versed with custom formalities and logistics management.
• Must have good communication and negotiation skills.
• He must also have good command over English both oral and written.
• Computer knowledge must be good.
• He must be hard working and sincere.
