Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead and manage the purchase department for all project-related procurement activities.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors for civil, MEP, finishing, and infra works.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely procurement.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budget.
Track material consumption and coordinate with site teams and project heads for timely replenishment.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.
Maintain and update purchase records, contracts, and documentation for audit and reporting.
Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams.
Evaluate vendor performance and develop strong vendor relationships.
Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and cost control.

Preferred candidate profile

Proven experience (10+ years) in procurement/purchase within the
real estate or construction industry
.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor markets, and industry benchmarks.
Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Excel, ERP, and procurement software.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
