Job Title: Purchase ExecutiveLocation: Tiruppur Department: Procurement / Supply ChainReports To: Purchase Manager / Procurement HeadJob Summary:The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery to meet business requirements. This role supports the procurement process by maintaining relationships with vendors, evaluating product quality, and ensuring cost-efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery time, and service.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Track orders and ensure timely delivery in coordination with logistics and warehouse teams.Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse to replenish stock as necessary.Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., finance, production, logistics) to understand purchasing needs.Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.Prepare and submit reports on purchasing activities, cost analyses, and supplier performance.Handle invoice verification and coordinate with accounts for timely payments.
