Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Supplier & Vendor Management:

    Identify, evaluate, develop, and maintain relationships with reliable local and international suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts.
  • Procurement Strategy:

    Develop and implement strategies to secure best prices, quality, and supply, analyzing market trends and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Inventory & Demand Planning:

    Monitor stock levels, forecast needs, process purchase orders, and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Cost & Budget Management:

    Manage procurement budgets, track expenses, and implement initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance:

    Ensure purchased goods meet required quality standards, collaborating with quality control teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Work with production, sales, and finance to understand needs, align activities, and resolve issues.
  • Reporting & Compliance:

    Maintain purchase records, prepare reports, and ensure all activities comply with company policies and regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum working experience upto 4+years in the FMCG industry,
