Job Description: Purchase Executive (Medical & Non-Medical Items)

Position: Purchase Executive

Experience Required: 2 to 5 years

Location: Greater Noida_ (7840001434)

Department: Procurement / Supply Chain

Role Summary

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of medical (dental consumables, equipment) and non-medical items (civil, electrical, housekeeping, plumbing, stationery, printing stationery, etc.). The role involves vendor sourcing, negotiation, purchase order processing, inventory coordination, and ensuring timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities

1. Medical Procurement (Dental & General Medical)

  • • Purchase of dental consumables, dental instruments, and medical equipment.
  • • Vendor identification, comparison, negotiation, and finalization.
  • • Ensure quality standards and compliance with medical procurement norms.
  • • Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and biomedical teams for requirement planning.

2. Non-Medical Procurement

  • • Procurement of civil, electrical, plumbing materials, and coordination with maintenance teams.
  • • Purchase of housekeeping items, general consumables, stationery, and printing stationery.
  • • Evaluate suppliers for quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • • Maintain rate contracts and vendor performance records.

3. Purchase Operations

  • • Prepare RFQs, quotations analysis, cost comparison and maintain documentation.
  • • Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in ERP or manual system.
  • • Follow-up with suppliers for delivery schedules and resolve delays.
  • • Coordinate with stores for GRN, stock management, and inventory accuracy.

4. Compliance & Cost Control

  • • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
  • • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • • Monitor market trends and pricing for medical and non-medical items.

5. Reporting & Coordination

  • • Maintain procurement MIS reports on weekly/monthly basis.
  • • Liaise with finance for invoice verification and payment follow-up.
  • • Maintain proper documentation of contracts, warranties, and AMCs

Required Skills

  • • Strong knowledge of medical consumables, dental materials, and hospital equipment.
  • • Good understanding of civil, electrical, plumbing, housekeeping and stationery procurement.
  • • Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
  • • Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, ERP systems.
  • • Ability to handle multi-department requirements and work under deadlines

Qualification

  • • Graduate (B.Com / BBA / B.Sc) or Diploma in Material Management / Supply Chain.
  • • Additional certification in procurement or supply chain is a plus.
