Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely sourcing and delivery of materials, products, and services. The role demands excellent organizational abilities, vendor management expertise, and strong negotiation skills. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors for goods and services.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines to achieve cost efficiency.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and order accuracy.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventories, and vendor communications.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement with material requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and compliance standards.
  • Resolve purchase-related issues, such as defective goods, incorrect deliveries, or delays.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Prepare periodic reports on purchasing activities, inventory status, and cost optimization.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and purchase/order management systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Sound knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.
