Job Description – Purchase Executive Company Name: Jay Precision Products India Pvt. Ltd. Location: Mohopada Panvel , Maharashtra Department: Purchase / Supply Chain Designation: Purchase Executive Employment Type: Full-Time Job Purpose To manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, tools, and services required for manufacturing operations while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. Key ResponsibilitiesSource and procure raw materials, plastic granules, engineering items, machine spares, tools, and consumables. Develop and maintain vendor relationships; identify new vendors as required. Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO). Negotiate price, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers. Ensure on-time material availability to avoid production delays. Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments. Track order status, follow up on deliveries, and resolve supply issues. Verify GRN, invoices, and coordinate for timely payments. Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor master, and MIS reports. Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Support cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement. Preferred Industry ExposurePlastic Injection Moulding / Manufacturing Special Purpose Machine (SPM) / Engineering Industry Automotive / Industrial Components Skills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation and vendor management skills Knowledge of purchase procedures and inventory control Proficiency in ERP / SAP / Tally / MS Excel Good communication and coordination skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
