Purchase Executive

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, services, and vendors essential for executing successful events. This role ensures timely availability of high-quality resources while maintaining cost efficiency and supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities : Identify and source vendors and suppliers for event-related materials and services . Obtain quotes, compare pricing, and negotiate terms and contracts to ensure best value for the company. Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services as per event timelines. Coordinate with internal departments (event management, production, logistics) to understand procurement needs. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier information, and inventory. Monitor stock levels and reorder as necessary, especially for reusable event materials. Evaluate supplier performance and maintain good relationships to ensure reliability and quality. Ensure compliance with company policies, budget limits, and procurement standards. Assist with post-event reconciliations and resolving any issues with deliveries or payments. Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the event management or hospitality industry. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Familiarity with vendor management and basic contract terms. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously. Knowledge of procurement software or ERP systems is a plus. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
