Purchase Engineer- Manufacturing

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer/Procurement Engineer to join our Purchase Department. The ideal candidate will manage procurement activities, vendor development, and cost optimization for raw materials, consumables, and services in the Lithium-ion Battery manufacturing sector.

Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 3–4 years in Procurement / Vendor Management (Manufacturing preferred)

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes & vendor management.
• Basic knowledge of Lithium-ion battery products.
• Proficiency in Tally & MS Excel for PO drafting and reporting.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation & customs clearance.

Profile Requirements:

• Efficient procurement of raw materials, services, and consumables with a focus on cost reduction & quality compliance.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in Tally; ensure timely forwarding to vendors.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and credit terms with suppliers.
• Maintain vendor data, records, and filing for compliance and audit readiness.
• Update and manage the approved vendor list.
• Coordinate with design, quality, and production teams to align purchase requirements.
• Support vendor development, evaluation, and selection based on quality, performance, and delivery.
• Manage import & custom clearance documentation when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
