Purchase Engineer

Emnis Systems Private Limited is a Sheet Metal Enclosure manufacturing company located in Sanand-II GIDC.

Our expectations from candidates applying for this job is stated below :

1. Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in a Purchase/Procurement role within a manufacturing or engineering company
• Experience handling sheet metal components, mechanical items, fasteners, locks, gaskets, etc.
• Familiarity with vendor development and supply chain coordination

2. Skills

• Strong negotiation and cost analysis skills
• Ability to understand technical drawings and product specifications
• Good knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and local supplier networks
• Proficient in MS Excel, Email communication, and ERP systems

3. Role Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines
• Source materials, issue purchase orders, and follow up to ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate with production, quality, and stores teams to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain and update procurement records and documentation
• Support in cost reduction initiatives and alternate vendor sourcing

4. Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical
• Training or certifications in Supply Chain Management are a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sanand, Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
