Purchase Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Coordinator to manage the end-to-end procurement process for Water Guns / Pichkaris. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor coordination, cost negotiations, quality assurance, product demonstrations, and overseeing the assembling and final testing of products. This role demands market awareness, vendor management skills, and a good eye for product quality and design trends in the seasonal toys segment.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Development & Coordination:
Identify and build relationships with suppliers /Vendor of water guns and related components. Maintain ongoing communication to ensure timely delivery and product availability.

Price Negotiation:
Negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery timelines with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising on quality.

Product Demonstration & Selection:
Coordinate with supplier / vendor for product demos, design, functionality, material quality and compatibility with company requirements.

Quality Assurance & Testing:
Perform quality checks on samples and received goods, ensuring water guns are leak-proof, durable, and safe. testing procedures to meet product standards.

Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, vendor agreements/list, and product specifications. Provide timely reports to the management, and stock status.

Inventory Control:

Monitor stock levels, manage replenishment, and ensure proper storage and control of materials and equipment.

Internal Collaboration:

Work with internal departments to understand their specific purchasing needs and requirements.

Requirements:

• Any Bachelor's degree or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in toys or consumer goods.
• Knowledge of seasonal product cycles and vendor sourcing.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct product evaluations and manage quality inspections.
• Proficient in MS Office and procurement tools.

Preferred:

• Experience in sourcing and assembling plastic toys or water-related products.
• Understanding of compliance and safety standards for toys.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
