Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Accountant based in Bengaluru. The Purchase Accountant will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing, reconciling accounts payable, and maintaining the purchase ledger. They will verify purchase orders and invoices, communicate with vendors, monitor payment schedules, and contribute to budgeting and cost analysis efforts. The role requires collaboration with internal teams to ensure procurement processes align with financial policies and overall organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting skills including purchase ledger maintenance and accounts reconciliation
• Knowledge of purchasing processes and vendor communication
• Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting
• Detail-oriented with effective organizational and analytical skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team setting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
