Role Overview:

We’re looking for a creative and proactive PR Executive who will focus on increasing brand visibility, building media relationships, and developing a strong brand presence across platforms. You’ll play a key role in creating the public image of Blue Waves Media and supporting all outreach campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute brand awareness strategies through media outreach, PR campaigns, and influencer connections.
• Draft and distribute compelling press releases, media kits, and brand stories.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, bloggers, journalists, and influencers.
• Monitor and manage media coverage, brand mentions, and reputation online.
• Collaborate with internal marketing/design teams for brand consistency in public-facing content.
• Organize and promote media events, interviews, guest posts, and podcasts.
• Assist in planning and managing PR campaigns and monitor KPIs.
• Maintain PR reports, media databases, and performance dashboards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, PR, Marketing, or related field.
• 1+ year of proven experience in public relations or communications.
• Strong media network or understanding of digital PR tools.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in PR for tech, digital marketing, or SaaS industries.
• Understanding of SEO, social media, and content marketing integration with PR.
• Proficiency in PR tools like Muck Rack, Meltwater, or similar.
